LED power supply 24 V DC, 100 W, 4.1 A, IP20 (Optonica 6246)

Optonica 6246 is a 24 V DC LED power supply with a nominal rating of 100 W for installations using compatible LED strips. It can be selected for shelf, recess or furniture lighting where the chosen strip requires a 24 V DC supply. The power supply provides the electrical input; the strip itself determines the light colour and output.

Quick wire connections help keep the electrical connections organised. The black aluminium housing is 154 mm long and 27 mm high, so its position can be planned alongside the other lighting components. When fitting it inside furniture or a service space, retain access to the connections and allow for air circulation after the surrounding finishes are complete.

Calculate the total consumption of all connected strips before selecting the supply. For example, a 5 m length of 24 V LED strip rated at 12 W/m has a nominal load of 60 W. This is a useful way to assess capacity, but the strip manufacturer's instructions determine the permitted powered run length. The power supply's wattage alone does not establish how long a single continuous strip can be.

The IP20 rating is intended for dry indoor use. Place the unit in an appropriate location protected from moisture. This makes it a component for the concealed technical part of the installation, while a separately chosen LED strip and profile provide the visible lighting line and the finish that suits the interior.

The output is 24 V DC, 4.1 A, with a 198–242 V AC input. Distinguish this version from similar-looking 12 V supplies: a matching housing or comparable power rating does not make them interchangeable. Any additional LED controller must also match the 24 V system and the actual total connected load.
